Undergraduate Research & Fellowships

Undergraduate Research & Fellowships (URAF) is your hub for information about NTC grants, research opportunities,non-Tulane funding (fellowships, scholarships, awards), writing an honors thesis, and the support you need to be competitive when applying for them.

Are you interested in conducting research, or going abroad to teach, study, intern or learn languages? Are you eager to develop new skills and area-specific knowledge? Do you want a fully-funded graduate education? If yes, let's talk!

Our Mission and Values

We serve to inform the Tulane community that grant, research, scholarship/fellowship opportunities exist for every interest, field of study, and demographic, and all are welcome to engage with us to explore pathways to enhance and reach their goals.

These opportunities require an application and can be competitive. Our role is to empower each applicant by encouraging self-reflection, helping to hone communication skills, and aiding them to build conduits to the future selves that they need to be.

URAF provides students with growth-focused assistance. We accompany them, and together we build rapport to envision new outcomes and paths for reaching academic, professional and personal goals.
