Considering Graduate Studies in the near future? There are fully-funded and partially-funded fellowship programs at US and foreign universities that you should carefully consider! Make an appointment at URAF@tulane.edu to speak with us about your plans and the options available to you!
Postgraduate Study in the UK (part 1)
Every year, Tulanians continue their academic journey with postgraduate studies in the UK. NTC's Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (URAF) is hosting an information session during which Alyce Myers of Durham University (UK), will explain the differences in the US vs. UK higher education system, the postgraduate application processes, funding opportunities, and life in the UK. Come lunch and learn to explore what this might look like for you. All students are welcome.
Part 2 of this event will be a virtual session on fellowship/scholarship options for postgraduate study in the UK on April 15 at 7pm.
Monday, April, 6 | 12 pm | In Person | Mussafer 100
Postgraduate Study in the UK (part 2)
Join URAF for an online orientation to scholarships that fund study in the UK. In particular, we will focus on the Rhodes, Marshall, Churchill, and Fulbright scholarship programs (which are the tip of the iceberg). Attendance at Part 1 is encouraged but not required.
Learn about what each of these funding opportunities has to offer, and what they are looking for from competitive candidates. All interested students are welcome.
